I sent the car to Hawaii via Matson Navigation, she came back after one year. Overall my experience with Matson was pretty good. They delayed the shipment of the car back by a few weeks, which was a tad irritating, but other than that I was impressed. Many people thought the idea of me shipping my car to Hawaii was hilarious. I do also chuckle at imagining my little S4 traveling across the sea, but it just made more sense. Sending it one way was $1100 , and the return was the same as well. I needed a car for work during that year in HI, so it made sense since most the cars I saw in HI for sale for about 3 grand or less were ratty.
